- 2013 – The Universidad Católica annually choose one alumni to concede an Honorable Mention as Distinguished Alumnus. During that year I was selected by the University for my professional accomplishments.
- 2009 – The Organization of American States (OEA) Internship offers an unique opportunity to acquire experience in different areas of expertise, in an international and multicultural environment enhancing networking possibilities. For the communication department the availability for the Internship program was very strict, so I was very excited when I was selected with other 5 people from Latin america and the Caribbean to be part on the program.
- 2004 – Full Postgraduate Scholarship by the Fundación Carolina. The government of Spain each year rewards academic excellence on Latin america students. In 2004, I was one of the three students in Latin america selected for a full scholarship to realize a master degree in journalism.
- 2001 – Premios Corte Final – Best Essay
- 2001 – Premios Corte Final – Best illustrated short-story
- 1998 – Full scholarship of best academic performance in the faculty of Communication and Journalism, by the Universidad Catolica
